Aparichit is 2005 Indian Tamil comedy drama film directed by A. R. Murugadoss, starring Srikanth and Sneha in the lead roles. The film revolves around two slum kids with contrasting personalities, set in Chennai. Divya is a very outgoing girl who tries to overcome poverty by entering film industry with the help of her uncle Ram-Lakshmanan while Karuna is reserved boy who wants to excel in football career but his father never allowed him to play due to financial constraints. Karuna falls in love with Divya but she is in love with another man. The movie ends up with a twist when Karuna saves Divya during her first film shooting.The film was produced by R. B. Choudary's Super Good Films, while Thotta Tharani composed the music for the film. It featured cinematography by Venkatesh Anguraj and editing by Suresh Urs, whilst Ashish Vidyarthi did the stunt choreography for the film. The film released on 31 October 2005 to positive reviews from critics and performed well at the box office, becoming a hittitle which ran for more than 100 days in theatres across Tamil Nadu . Aparichit was subsequently dubbed into Telugu and released in Andhra Pradesh. The film was also remade in Kannada as Shambo Shiva Shambo by C. V.
